I Spy…

By , January 23, 2012

My mom & I had a sweet little leisurely walk together in the sunshine and long shadows of this quiet Monday afternoon, along with a café stop afterward for hot chocolate with whipped cream! We both loved it so much. I was totally exhausted again today, but felt that I really wanted to get out of the house into the outdoors. I had to practically peel myself up off the living room carpet to do it, but I’m so glad I did.

Medicine for the soul is very important.

You saw some beauty on your walk. What a sweet squirrel and those grasses are so lovely…and that blue sky is stunning. Love the new shoots bursting from the ground. Isn’t nature amazing!xxx

  2. Yes, soul medicine is so important!
Love the pictures, that squirrel is so cute.

Forgot to mention I loved your icicle picture too.

P.S. I had a dream last night that you bought a ticket to come visit, but it was the same time my mom and grandma were visiting, so we were going to change it. 🙂 Funny, huh?

Trish, yes the sky was so stunning! That color is really common here 🙂 especially in the Autumn and Winter.

    Taryn,
What a cute dream! I definitely won’t visit while your mom & grandma are there! Hehe! But that does make me think a little harder about making a visit happen…. perhaps this spring! I will begin thinking on that…
    Love love love to you!
