Look what I saw yesterday! Snowdrops! Spring is coming. The birds know it, the plants know it!
It was a beautiful, warm day yesterday. Admittedly, I was more in the mood for a snow day so that I could stay in and get indoor things done. This is the season of hibernation and hunkering down, and sometimes I don’t want to feel lured out by the sunshine and warmth. In wintertime, I want winter. Buuuuut…you gotta strike when the iron is hot — so I let myself be lured out anyway, and I enjoyed it so much!
I was craving Ethiopian, my favorite type of ethnic food, so I got take-out and took it to a nice nature spot, took off my shoes, rolled up my sleeves, and ate in the sunshine. Then I took a short, leisurely walk. It felt so good to be outdoors in the warm air.

Funny that you are having spring signs already as here in Greece is bitterly cold at the moment and it is snowing ever here in Athens!
I love snow, especially now that I don’t have to go out to go to work and get to stay at home with my babies 🙂
Also I love to watch Northern Exposure when the weather is dull and cold, while enjoying a nice mug of hot tea!
I’m currently watching Season 5, one more to go and I’m sad for this, I really love this series, thank you again for recommending it! 🙂

I’m so glad you’ve loved Northern Exposure so much! Me too. Such a sweet series. I can’t think of another similar series off the top of my head, but I will have to think about it. The other series that I really love, though, is Seinfeld. Have you seen those? Some people love Seinfeld, some don’t — but I’ve seen nearly every episode from their 9 seasons, and even own the entire collection on DVD. I always laugh out loud at those! I do love Seinfeld 🙂
